A Little Itchy
Scarlett has gained more weight this week. However, she managed to get into poison ivy / oak and has been rubbing. We are treating her according to the vet's reccomendations. Aside from itching, she seems to be feeling a whole lot better. She ran from me the other day when I was trying to catch her to put her halter on. She had her feet trimmed for the first time this week also. The farrier didn't seem to think that she has ever foundered, which is wonderful and amazing.

it's great that she felt like running! good for her, and just gonna let y'all know i think what you're doing is FANTASTIC! she is looking lots better already, and i'm glad her feet look good, too!

All I can say is, what an incredible job you are doing for these horses. A lot of people call themselves rescuers. But you are an example of how it should be done. I hope all of this comes back to you a thousand times; if not in funds, at least in good things done for you.

A man was walking down by the ocean, and he saw an older man bending over and throwing, bending over an throwing... over and over again. Intrigued, the younger man moved closer and noticed the older man was throwing starfish who had washed up into the ocean. The younger man said "What are you doing, you can't possibly save them all." The old man replied "It made a diference to this one, and this one, and this one... and so on."
Thanks for "Throwing the starfish back in".

Sher is looking well!! You can really see it in her rump when compared to the sale pen pictures
I like Aveeno Oatmeal soak for recovering itchy skin. It is a human bath product and you sponge it on and leave to dry.
